Infitek at Analytica 2026

Our first time at Analytica—meeting customers, connecting with partners, and sharing what we heard in Munich.

Analytica is one of the largest trade shows for laboratory and analytical instruments. This year in Munich, the exhibition halls were busy—familiar faces, new visitors, and a slightly different mood from previous editions.

Infitek exhibited for the first time, presenting a range of laboratory instruments and solutions. The booth drew both longtime clients and new partners. Some arrived with lists of products they’d seen elsewhere, asking whether we could offer a more direct path. Others were curious about our one-stop model—linking labs with China’s laboratory equipment ecosystem.

Walking the halls, the competition was easy to see. European brands still carry strong recognition, but many new releases felt less surprising than in the past. Chinese manufacturers are moving faster—broader product lines, quicker updates, tighter pricing. The halls were full of comparisons and quiet calculations.

What Changed This Year

If you’ve been to Analytica before, you know the rhythm. Big booths from established European brands. Product launches with some fanfare. This year felt different.

The major European brands were still impressive. Meanwhile, Chinese manufacturers occupied more space than in previous years. Not just low-cost options anymore. We’re talking about full product lines, polished presentations, and technical teams ready for detailed conversations.

What Visitors Were Asking

1 3

Standing at the Infitek booth for three days, a pattern emerged. People came prepared—spec sheets from competitors, price points already negotiated, and a clear question: can you do better?

The comparison shopping happens in real time now. There was genuine curiosity about China’s laboratory equipment ecosystem. What’s the quality like? How does support work? These are fair questions, and they gave us a chance to explain how things have changed.

Budget pressure came up repeatedly. Lab managers told to do more with less. Procurement teams looking for savings without sacrificing reliability. Researchers needing equipment that works, without the premium price tag.

Liquid Chromatography: The Conversation Starter

2 1

Liquid chromatography systems came up repeatedly. LC systems are essential for many labs, but they’re a significant investment. Visitors wanted to understand total cost of ownership, service availability, and whether a different supplier could offer better value.

What We Learned

The market is reassessing where to source laboratory equipment. Brand loyalty exists, but it’s no longer automatic. People are doing the math.

Visitors value substance over flash. The booths with the most traffic weren’t the biggest—they were the ones where you could have a real conversation with someone who understood the technology.

If you visited our booth at Analytica 2026, thank you. We’ll be back at future shows, continuing the conversations that started in Munich.
