3. Cleaning personnel wear gloves and masks, use brushes and clean water to clean saliva and pollutants on the surface of the equipment, or place them in an ultrasonic oscillator for cleaning.

4. After cleaning the instruments, wipe them dry, apply lubricating oil or anti-rust oil to the joint instruments, classify and pack them, and put them into various sterilizers in order for sterilization and disinfection.

5. High temperature and high pressure steam sterilizer:

①Put the cleaned instrument into a sterile display tube bag or pack it with a wrapping cloth and fill in the disinfection date.

②Put chemical monitoring reagents or biological monitoring agents in the pot regularly or irregularly, and put them into the pot together with the equipment for disinfection and sterilization for about 20 to 30 minutes.

③The results of regular and irregular disinfection and sterilization should be recorded and saved for future reference.

6. Cassette type sterilization quick pot:

① Add lubricating oil to the axis of the instrument to prevent rust, and put it in a sterile tube bag for disinfection.

②Put chemical monitoring reagents or biological monitoring agents in the pot regularly or irregularly, and put them into the pot for disinfection and sterilization for about 10 minutes together with the equipment.

③The results of regular and irregular disinfection and sterilization should be recorded and saved for future reference.

7. Dry steam sterilizer (dry heater)

①Specially disinfect orthodontic instruments.

② Remove the saliva or blood on the surface of the orthodontic device with clean water.

③Put the orthodontic device into an oscillator containing ultrasonic cleaner solution and vibrate for 5 minutes.

④ Rinse with distilled water.

⑤Use a dry cloth and inhale to completely dry the surface of the orthodontic device, especially the joints and cut surfaces.

⑥Put the orthopedic instruments into the disinfection shelf to avoid contact between instruments and instruments.

⑦ Sterilize in a pot at 375°C for 20 minutes.

⑧ Lubricate the joints of the instrument with lubricant.

⑨Put it on the rack for clinical use.

8. Instruments that cannot be sterilized by high pressure and high temperature should be sterilized by chemical agents (such as soaking in glutaraldehyde solution).

① Clean the instruments (such as rubber products) with an ultrasonic cleaner.

②Concentrate soaking in glutaraldehyde solution for 10 hours.

③Remove the instrument with tweezers and rinse it with distilled water.

④ Change the liquid medicine at least once every two weeks, and change it at any time if it is dirty.

9. Disposal of instruments after disinfection:

①Drying and cooling: The equipment package of the heating type steam sterilizer must be dried and cooled. At present, there are many sterilizers with automatic cooling and drying systems.

②Storage: Place the sterilized instruments in a clean, dry and sealed place or in an ultraviolet box, and follow the principle of “put first, take first” when taking them; the storage time should not be too long, and the packing bag should not exceed 1 month; cloth bags and paper bags should not More than 1 week; the rest does not exceed 4 days, such as the device packaged in a tube bag, in principle, it should be re-sterilized after being stored for at least half a year, and the date should be written:

10. Monitoring:

①Routinely test the temperature and pressure with a high temperature and high pressure display belt (steam clock test paper) every day, and record it.

②Dental clinics test with biological culture reagents every month; send it to the supply room for culture interpretation and record it.

11. If there is an abnormality in the monitoring, it means that there is a problem with the sterilizer, stop using the sterilizer, and notify the manufacturer to repair the sterilizer at the same time
