• Spectrophotometer Overview:

After some groups in the molecule absorb visible radiation, the transition of electronic energy level occurs, resulting in the absorption spectrum. Since various substances have different molecules, atoms and different molecular space structures, the energy of absorbing light is different, so each substance has its own unique and fixed absorption spectrum curve, which can be determined according to the absorption spectrum at some characteristic wavelengths. The level of absorbance was used to determine the content of the substance.

spectrophotometer
  • Structure of a Spectrophotometer
  • Its basic structure is light source, monochromator, absorption cell, detector and display
  • The light emitted by the light source is separated by a monochromator to obtain monochromatic light of a certain wavelength, which is irradiated to the sample solution in the sample chamber. After modulation zoom, display or print the measurement results
  • Application examples
  1. Application in pharmaceutical analysis
  2. Petroleum and oil analysis
  3. Aquatic product quality control
  4. Application in purity inspection
  5. Pesticide and its residue analysis
  6. Drinking water analysis
  7. Other
spectrophotometer
  • The working environment requirements of the spectrophotometer:

1. The spectrophotometer should be installed away from high temperature and high humidity environment, and the indoor temperature should be kept at (16~35)℃.
2. Keep away from strong magnetic fields and electric fields, and avoid corrosive gases.
3. The workbench on which the instrument is placed should be stable and free from vibration.
4. There should be enough space near the fan of the instrument so that the air can be exhausted smoothly.
5. It is best to use a separate socket for the instrument, and the power supply should be well grounded.
6. The instrument should avoid direct sunlight and dusty environment
